A Valley institution for over 40 years

Hebrew High offers the only program in the Valley for Jewish teens of all different affiliations to meet and to interact regularly with hundreds of their peers.

It is an academic as well as a social experience that is designed specifically to meet the developmental needs of adolescents.

  • Hebrew High offers Hebrew for high school language credit accepted at high schools throughout the Valley (offered in Scottsdale and Chandler locations)
  • In addition to our Central campus in Scottsdale; Hebrew High has two satellite campuses, one in Chandler to serve the east valley, and in Glendale to serve the west valley.
  • Confirmation classes from our local congregations
  • Community 8th Grade School – an adjunct to Hebrew High that meets on our Central campus.

From Hebrew High Graduates...

Attending Hebrew High has helped me realize the importance of the tie I have to Judaism - both its values and its community. It has made me want to further expand my identity as a Jew and even travel to Israel. I am proud of my Jewish identity and thankful for the impact Hebrew High has had on it.
— Sarah B., Yale University
A great part of my love for the Jewish culture began at Hebrew High. Before Hebrew High, Judaism was with my family or at temple and was very contained. At Hebrew High, Judaism was everywhere. Everyone there was Jewish. ...people were learning and socializing and having fun. Hebrew High taught me to be a Jew. I intend to carry on that aspect of my life on my journey through college and through life.
— Jordan, Emory University
My Hebrew High “experience” didn’t teach me Judaism; it allowed me to discover it for myself. I was given the tools to realize my own place as a Jew and as a member in the Jewish community. The lessons taught at Hebrew High allowed me to connect with not only my peers but also myself.
— Jonathan, Chapman University
Little did I know that my Hebrew High experience would vastly transform my outlook on life and signal the renewal of my Jewish identity. Hebrew High has given me a chance to be around teenagers, teachers, and mentors that share the common bond that unites us not only through heritage, but also as a minority group in America. There is no doubt that Hebrew High has significantly influenced who I am and what I will become.
— Arik Tasa-Bennett, Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University
