Hebrew High Care-A-Van

This year’s 18th Anniversary trip will take us across the western states, through Colorado, Nevada, Utah, and California.

Hebrew High Care-a-van is a 15-day summer excursion that will bring together Jewish high school students from across the Valley of the Sun for meaningful Jewish education, community service, socialization, spirituality, and travel.

This year’s 18th Anniversary trip will take us across the western states, through Colorado, Nevada, Utah and CA. Students travel on an air-conditioned Motor Coach from Phoenix to various locations throughout volunteering in each of the communities we visit. Accommodations for Care-a-van include motels and luxury condominiums for Shabbat.

Social Action

BIKUR CHOLIM
Hebrew High teens make weekly hospital visits to wish Jewish patients a Shabbat Shalom and refuah shleima, while delivering bags of challah, grape juice and prayers.

COOKIES FOR HUNGER
Once a month our teens bake cookies to sell at Hebrew High, with the proceeds going to various programs to help those in need.

PASSOVER FOOD DRIVE
The BJE and Hebrew High have taken a lead role in our community to bring groups together and collect donations to provide Passover food to those in need for the holiday.
