Artful Encounters with 20th Century Israeli Art

Gain a deeper understanding of the rich and innovative emergenge of an Israeli art style– from the Impressionism of European immigrants to the Zionist Movement and beyond. Capture the Israeli style of art which reflects geography, landscape, climate, the influences of artists from may countries and cultures. Among the artists studied are: Nahum Gutman, Anna Ticho, Reuven Rubin, Marcel Janco, Yitzhak Tarkay and Menashe Kadishman.
