Hebrew High Care-a-van is a 15-day summer excursion that brings together Jewish teens from across the Valley for meaningful Jewish education, community service, socialization, spirituality, and travel.
This year's 15th Anniversary trip will take us across Colorado, Nevada, Utah and California.
Students travel on an sir-conditioned Motor Coach from Phoenix to various locations throughout volunteering in each of the communities we visit.
Accomadations for Care-a-van include motels and luxury condominiums for Shabbat.
Hebrew High teens make weekly hospital visits to wish Jewish patients a Shabbat Shalom and refuah shleima, while delivering bags of challah, grape juice and prayers.
COOKIES FOR HUNGER
Once a month our teens bake cookies to sell at Hebrew High, with the proceeds going to various programs to help those in need.
PASSOVER FOOD DRIVE
The BJE and Hebrew High have taken a lead role in our community to bring groups together and collect donations to provide Passover food to those in need for the holiday.
